One of our first regulatory matters involved an out-of-state brewery trying to distribute its product in Minnesota. After an initial refusal, we successfully worked with regulators to obtain self-distribution rights in Minnesota for the client. We have helped numerous clients obtain federal and state alcohol beverage licenses and permits. In other instances, we have worked with the Tax and Trade Bureau to work through regulatory matters for clients, and even helped a client obtain a liquor license despite opposition from a city council person. We also worked with a client to obtain a license to sell edible cannabinoid products in a city in which this client had previously been denied a license.
